Talento Human Capital has partnered with a large, publicly traded organization that is on a hyper growth path and scaling its Organizational Design & Corporate HR team. The Organizational Design Specialist assists with the maintenance of the organizational structure by adhering to the methodology for the job creation and the job evaluation.The specialist will work with the team to design the system for job grading and evaluation of job positions and maintain the job matrix of the organization as the internal equity is maintained and/or reached

Responsibilities

  • Enable organizational design and change across the business. Contribute to changes in organizational structures, job roles, and changes to business processes, systems, and technology
  • Design an organization alignment that links processes, governance, structure and culture with the future
  • Develop workforce strategy and talent development plans that minimize disruption and equips people with skills for new roles
  • Vision/translate the business case into a compelling case for change
  • Plan study of work problems and procedures around organizational change
  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, and organizational changes
  • Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
  • Ensure business activities are conducted under management-approved policies and procedures. 
  • Analyze data, develop solutions and present conclusions
  • Designs and maintains the job matrix of all jobs in the organization
  • Asssits in designing, implementing and maintaining the job evaluation methodology
  • Facilitiates job creation traning sessions for HR Business Partners at the Corporate HQ and throughout the Field)
  • Works with the Total Rewards team on the grading of job positions and assigning the correct optimum salary
  • Designs and maintains the rules for the span of control in different business units
  • Conducts regular audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes to make the organization more efficient

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Change Management , or other elevant business program
  • 3-5 years experience, ideally in a Corporate HR or Consulting role
  • Experience and knowledge of organizational design, change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Problem solving mentality with ability to understand complex environments; Ability to be agile in fast paced environments
  • Ability to work in Miami/Blue Lagoon Business District near Miami Airport on a hybrid remote schedule 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint
