TalentoHC is partnered with a Travel & Leisure organization seeking a Project Manager supporting the IT Operations & Infrastructure teams within the organization.
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT Operations & Infrastructure projects. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our IT systems to support our innovative cruise line operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules for IT infrastructure and operations initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, operations teams, and external vendors, to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to IT operations projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgetary constraints.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of products and services in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to ensure IT operations projects meet predefined standards and objectives.
• Facilitate change management processes to minimize the impact of system changes and upgrades on business operations and end-users.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, status reports, meeting minutes, and post-implementation reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within IT operations and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT operations, infrastructure, or similar technical projects.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (primarily Agile)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.
• Solid organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) and SAFE certification is a plus.
