Software Engineer – Web Analytics
Talento has partnered with an organization that manages a large portfolio of companies across the United States on a search for a developer passionate about marketing and web analytics for a newly built function in the organization. As an SME in Web Analytics, you'll be responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of their web analytics and tracking infrastructure. You should have a wide set of skills including Google Analytics, GTM, front end development and API integrations. You'll use these skills and work across the organization to ensure that all tracking is implemented correctly and data flows seamlessly across their systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web analytics with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- 3+ years of experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with API integration and the ability to connect and manipulate data from various sources
- Experience with backend languages highly preferred
- Experience implementing complex tracking solutions across multiple websites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, passionate about marketing
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust tracking strategy for Google Analytics 4 across nine websites, ensuring precise and thorough data collection.
- Efficiently manage and deploy tracking tags and triggers using Google Tag Manager across all platforms.
- Collaborate with web developers to seamlessly integrate tracking code into website HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages as needed.
- Leverage various APIs to enhance analytics, providing a comprehensive view of their digital landscape.
- Create advanced regular expressions for data filtering, segmentation, and event tracking.
- Monitor and troubleshoot tracking implementations, promptly resolving any issues to maintain data accuracy.
- Offer technical guidance and support to stakeholders on web analytics and tracking best practices.
- Stay current with web analytics, tracking technologies, and data privacy regulations, ensuring compliance and adopting best practices.
