Talento Human Capital has partnered with a Fortune 1000 company and their Corporate Treasurer who is evolving the treasury management function of a warp-speed growth enterprise with nearly 20,000 employees in North America.
The Senior Manager of Treasury Operations is responsible for the management of cash and bank accounts in a complex, multi-entity environment in a capitally intensive industry. Additionally, the Senior Manager oversees the travel & expense, corporate credit and bank management functions for the enterprise. The Senior Manager also supports the development of executive presentations for corporate finance, preparation of financial and executive reports, and the management of corporate card programs and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manages the companies cash requirements activities based on the needs of multiple business units and the general corporate finance team
- Manage the ongoing relationship with banking institutions;
- Manage the banking fee review process and reconciliation of fee agreements vs actuals
- Maintain strong banking relationships to be aware of and implement processes for changes in banking industry.
- Analyze core business and back-office operations, leading cross-functional action plan execution for cash flow optimization
- Lead the scheduling and execution of cash flows based on budgets and projects; Ensure there are sufficient funds available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
- Develop appropriate reporting and modeling capabilities to support short and long-term liquidity forecasting needs, working closely with financial teams and departments
- Administration of cash-related risks, bank accounts, cash, investments, payments, collections, ensuring the required care and balancing operational needs
- Negotiate and administer loans required for operations
- Maintain current and accurate bank account database with updated signature cards in Treasury Workstation databases.
- Responsible for all corporate card programs (Purchase card and T&E card) as well as the expense reimbursement process; Manage Travel & Expense (T&E) system including Audit Rules as well as maintenance tasks.
- Supervise Analysts in setting cash position daily and work with Corporate Finance to cover any shortfalls or invest excess cash; Develop and manage a team of 2-3 ensuring a supportive and collaborative working environment
- Drive adoption of technology tools and digital processes across a large enterprise organization
- Assist with and support ad hoc finance reporting projects.
- Drive and ensure compliance with standards and policies
Experience
- 5-10 years of progressive treasury & finance experience in Fortune 500 Treasury or Corporate finance department
- Experience in a management capacity over a sub-function of department in Treasury or Corporate Finance
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business; MBA or Master’s degree highly preferred
- Ability to work 3 days in Miami as a part of a high performance team; 2 remote days
- Strong Microsoft Office experience with Outlook, Powerpoint and Advanced Excel expertise in financial modeling
- Be a proven team player and leader that can work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management
- Detailed professional with strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment, utilizing multi-tasking skills
- Organizational skills required; meeting deadlines in a timely manner
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure
- Must possess strong work ethic, integrity, loyalty and initiative in getting things done, as well as strong organizational skills
