Supply Chain Financial Analyst – Food & Packaging
Talento has partnered with a major restaurant group on a search for a contract analyst role. Based out of their Miami offices, you will work with a team that is responsible for supporting the team that ensures a continuous supply of assigned products at the best cost. Your primary responsibilities include providing necessary analytical work and information in multiple categories including: sales volume, production schedules, timeline development, and industry research.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance / Accounting is ideal
- 2+ years of experience in a finance role supporting an operations department OR as a buyer
- Must have strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Support team to ensure continuous supply of competitively priced products on a timely basis
- Manage and facilitate relationships with vendors and restaurant stakeholders
- Work with culinary team, as needed, to facilitate the introduction of new products
- Manage relationships with suppliers
- Facilitate industry research to support strategy development, including identification of new suppliers, industry trends, and underlying cost analysis
- Utilization of MicroStrategy to run necessary ad-hoc reports
- Create pricing reviews and calculate pricing formulas and upload documentation consistent with Pricing Procedures
- Monitor pricing compliance and ensure completion of all pricing review requirements
- Establish and monitor vendor capacity and distribution capabilities
- Monitor production schedules for promotional and/or new product activity and monitor supplier production on a weekly basis
