Talento has partnered with a leader in the South Florida Market seeking a Human Resources Specialist. As an HR Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience by overseeing payroll, benefits, HRIS, and more. Responsibilities:
- Perform payroll functions and calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Process garnishments, child support, and other liens.
- Administer Paid Time Off and Leave of Absence programs.
- Coordinate HR practices including Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and Onboarding.
- Maintain benefit enrollments and terminations.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Validate COBRA enrollments and terminations.
- Maintain HRIS and Paycom self-service portal.
- Create and manage HRIS reports.
- Coordinate Tuition Reimbursement program.
- Coordinate internal employee transfers.
- Input and analyze background checks.
- Maintain organization charts.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Background for Success:
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Experience Requirements: 1-3+ years of HR experience with emphasis in Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS.
- Compliance Requirements: Ensure compliance with all ADMA Quality policies, standards, and SOPs.
- Excellent people skills, flexibility, good judgment, ability to handle confidential information, customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Experience providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple activities and projects, managing confidential/sensitive data.
