The Role
The Managing Director will spearhead the customer development of new customers in Miami. The role leads team of customer development, customer experience, recruiting and research professionals. The Miami market has a plethora of market expertise placing C-suite to professional level positions for Leisure & Travel, QSR, and Banking industries with 10,000+ placements. This role proactively engages with key business stakeholders to identify and deliver critical customer impacting solutions. The role will be essential in driving our internal talent acquisition strategy and ensuring we attract top talent to our organization as we triple our headcount. This thought leader will drive project management, innovation, and strategy for their region and work with global leadership to take Talento to the next level.
 
How You Make an Impact
The Managing Director has ownership of the people, customers and growth of their market. It is essential to continuously advocating for, and driving improvements for the office, team and on behalf of our customers. This role will manage P&L and budget; prospect sales, client relationships, account management, and team performance management and development.
 
What you would be responsible for:
 
Leadership, Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Miami office in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and industry trends to drive revenue growth.
  • Set challenging yet achievable targets and motivate the team to exceed them.
  • Provide timely insights to detect, resolve, and prevent customer-impacting issues.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support experiences.
  • Develop and execute a recruiting strategy for direct hires aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously optimize the recruitment strategy for better outcomes.
  • Act as a key evangelist and subject matter expert in Talent, aligned with our vision, for the local market and internal associates.
  • Maintain a project list and provide weekly status reports for internal, customer, or other initiatives.
  • Promote and embody the firm’s culture as a key influencer among our associates.
  • Represent our company values, ensuring engagement, motivation, and goal clarity for every associate.
  • Compile weekly recruiting metrics and financial forecasts for assigned accounts, comparing actual results to goals

Customer Development / Sales

  • Identify and develop customer relationships (both new and existing) through outstanding networking, referrals, business development, social media and events.
  • Develop customer development plans with weekly forecasting to achieve business objectives for assigned practice, vertical, or geography.
  • Create and execute customer growth plans, measuring satisfaction and revenue/gross profit objectives.
  • Build successful relationships with prospective customers.
  • Understand customer pain points and provide valuable information to drive action.
  • Generate proposals, statements of work, and pricing opportunities, addressing problem statements and presenting solutions encompassing Talento services.
  • Utilize Front Office technology to document client and talent interactions and enhance sales/recruiting effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns, strategic alliances, and thought leadership initiatives for market activation and growth.
  • Participate in trade professional and industry associations to develop contacts and contribute to their purpose.
  • Coordinate customer and company driven initiatives to meet the needs of the customer while ensuring a positive outcome for the company.

Customer Experience & Recruiting Management

  • Ensure the appropriate resourcing for customers to ensure the appropriate outcomes; Participate in attracting, developing, engaging & retaining associates; Obsess over the right resources for customer experience to be achieved.
  • Responsible for customer communications, conflict resolution and compliance. Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
  • Develops and manages recruiting KPI’s per customer producing insightful stories and driving delivery excellence through data
  • Plays an integral role in contributing to the know-how of the team through collaboration and practice sharing. We believe you surround yourself with great people and they will learn from each other to become collectively better
  • Participate meaningfully in the ongoing performance management process for the firms associates
  • Shares responsibility for facilitating daily prioritization meetings. We self-manage our selves through a rhythm where the team holds each other accountable
  • Advocate on behalf of the Customer during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience.
  • Ensures the consistent execution of the end-to-end recruiting process serving as a coach and hands-on trainer in these areas:
  • Interaction with customers in Kickoff & Calibration meetings. Ensure customer requirements are gathered and leveraged throughout research, outreach, assessment and submission
  • Support development of research plan and tactics by collaborating and leading when needed with a team of recruiters, researchers and customer teams.
  • Manage and update internal ATS with accuracy and integrity.
  • Display technical knowledge and the ability to understand technology
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Creates search overview reports for clients including market intelligence and activities summaries

Experience and knowledge requirements for the Managing Director – Miami:

  • Passionate about enabling businesses through human capital
  • 15 years of recruiting & human resources experience
  • 10 years of sales & business growth experience
  • 7+ years as a team lead – developing, hiring, onboarding recruiting professionals
  • 5+ years owning a large, complex customer relationship with proven success driving a land and expand approach
  • 10+ years’ experience in sourcing and candidate assessment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
  • Driven by collaboration, learning, doing the right thing and quality human interaction
  • Pride in delivering quality work, every time
  • Fluent in English. Spanish preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
