Payroll Manager
Talento Human Capital has partnered with a global, $3 billion organization with 55,000 employees in search of a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Manager will oversee daily payroll operations for the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and leading the implementation of payroll system enhancements for a large, distributed base of employees in a multi-state, North America focused footprint.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing operations, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
- Establish policies and processes to support accurate payroll calculations and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and human resource departments to provide accurate payroll information.
- Develop and generate payroll-related statistical reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate governmental reporting and compliance.
- Supervise and train payroll professionals and support staff, resolving complex issues or errors as needed.
- Lead the implementation of payroll system enhancements and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including multi-state payroll.
- Experience deploying payroll systems across a wide-ranging employee network spanning multiple states, with a primary focus on North America.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce required.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
