They are currently undergoing a transformative phase, as they take over the codebase of their mobile application to deliver a seamless and immersive experience to their users.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to lead the ground-up rewrite of our mobile application. As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a pivotal role in redesigning and rebuilding our Android app to provide a seamless and engaging experience for our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust and scalable Android solutions.


  • Lead the redevelopment efforts of our Android mobile application, leveraging your expertise in Kotlin, Java, React, and Native development.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Architect, design, and implement innovative features and functionalities that elevate the overall user experience and drive user engagement.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for optimization, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across various Android devices and versions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operation of the application.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Android trends, technologies, and frameworks, advocating for their adoption when appropriate.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Android Developer, with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, React, and Native Android development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and other development tools.
  • Solid grasp of software design principles, architectural patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party libraries.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the travel, leisure, or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment methodologies.
  • Active participation in the Android developer community or contributions to open-source projects.
